Most important duties:
1. QMS Leadership & Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to, and effective implementation of, the ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems within assigned areas.
- Maintain QMS documentation (procedures, work instructions, forms) and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Lead and support internal audits, customer audits, and certification audits. - Drive timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor key QMS processes and report on their effectiveness.
2. Supervision & Team Leadership:
- Directly supervise and mentor Quality Engineer and QC, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Schedule and assign daily tasks to the quality team to ensure coverage and meet production demands.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness, continuous improvement, and accountability within the team and across relevant departments.
3. Quality Control & Assurance:
- Oversee and participate in incoming, in-process, and final product inspections according to defined standards and control plans.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement.
4. Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:
- Lead or actively participate in root cause analysis for internal and external quality issues.
- Drive implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Utilize core quality tools proactively to prevent defects and improve processes
5. Customer & Supplier Interaction:
- Interface with customers (quality representatives, auditors) as required, addressing quality concerns and providing necessary reports/data (in English).
- Support the supplier quality process, including evaluation and feedback, as directed by the Superior.
6.Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare and present regular quality performance reports (KPIs) to management and global quality lead.
- Communicate effectively (verbally and in writing in English) with all levels within Sefar regarding quality issues, status, and initiatives.
- Travel abroad when necessary to attend quality-related conferences to strengthen global cooperation.
7. Oversee EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Function:
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations, implement EHS policies, conduct risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and sustainability initiatives.
Qualification & Requirements:
1. Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a quality assurance/control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience directly supervising or leading a team (Quality Technicians, Inspectors).
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with implementing, maintaining, and auditing ISO 9001/ IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems
2. Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of quality inspection methods and metrology.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings, specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
3. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality), Quality Management, or a related technical field is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential..
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend technical documents, and communicate effectively with internal teams, management, and global quality team.
