Responsibilities:
○ Based on program assumption, make preliminary engineering budget and resource plan to support program quotation.
○ Identify and fully understand product configuration and target definition, update engineering budget and resources.
○ Make and release EBOM, feature list, DVP and CC/SC, manage and release 3D,2D and DFMEA, support tooling and gage development.
○ Keep connection with HQ engineering team, manage and release engineering changes, coordinate and track the resources for PV test, support in customer audit.
○ Lead in root cause analysis and action plan making as issue occur during products matching activities, make engineering analysis when PV test failed, support ET, PT sample build.
○ Launch support to ensure SOP on time.
Job Specification / required skills:
Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical Engineering field related;
At least 3 years of experience as automotive interior product engineer.
Entire development experience of at least 1 interior project
Working knowledge of DTS, GD&T and statistical process control;
Needs to be familiar with the design and development of plastic parts, foaming, etc.;
Needs to be familiar with common manufacturing and assembly processes of interior parts
Skillful in office software, familiar with Catia or UG CAD software.
Needs to be customer-orientated (and be able to communicate directly to our customers); Would be beneficial if being familiar with VW. BMW, Daimler GM processes and standards;
Needs to be independent and self-motivated with strong desire to success;
Good communication skills and team player;
Good in English, German preferred.
