Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide general design proposal and drawing for products to meet client requirements
- Provide technical data calculation and support, assist sales for technical communication
- Provide technical material after sales, and deal with the product technical problem
- Filing internal technical and project material, make sure sales understood
- Support technical inquiries/questions of sales before/during project bidding period
- Support daily technical inquiries inside factory and sales companies before and after order entry
- Support daily internal order handling, such as order technical review, engineering drawings, BOM check of sales orders to ensure clean order enters the ERP system
- Maintain ERP master data, Routing and BOM in ERP system to ensure correct product data setting in ERP system
- Maintain technical documents and engineering change to ensure all other departments to work with update and valid technical documents
- Support other departments on technical aspects, including support supply chain on localization, support cost calculation and production
- Contact point with other MUs to get necessary technical support
- Support the new product transferring in Kunshan factory
- Other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by his direct supervisor and the company
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or above majored in pump & machinery;
- At least 5 years working experience of pump product design and technical support;
- Familiar with 3D tools (Inventor/Solidworks/NX) and application skills of computer such as WORD, EXCEL.
- Familiar with the mechanical design knowledge, can be skilled in calculating the strength, stress etc., practical skills with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and/or FEA (Finite Element Analysis) will be an advantage
- Know about Municipal Water market and familiar with waste water treatment process;
- Comprehensive knowledge of pump type and characteristic, select suitable pump products according to work condition requirement, acquaintance with relevant products standard;
- Effectively apply technical or professional skills within the role;
- Effectively contribute to the sales process and bidding process;
- Demonstrate understanding of the role of technology in business and adopt technological change;
- Interpersonal demonstrate good working relationships within work group Work cooperatively with people from different cultural backgrounds and time zones within SULZER, and with customers, consultants and suppliers.
- Demonstrate responsiveness and promptness in serving customer needs;
- Balance many priorities and competing demands effectively;
- Protect confidential information;

- Understanding of work with ERP, SAP experience will be an advantage.
