General Description: Be responsible for product engineering of one or more solenoids at the production site Key Accountabilities: ? Related to solenoid product(s) under the responsibility ? Plan product validation and define other product engineering testing at the production site or other sites ? Follow-up product validations at the production site or other sites ? Analyze, conclude and communicate validation and other product test results at the production site or other sites ? Define testing and inspection plans for root cause search of product performance or durability issues related to production rejects, validation failures or customer complaints ? Support containment action definition and find root cause of product performance or durability issues related to production rejects, validation failures or customer complaints ? Define control plan of, plan and lead prototype assembly runs at the production site ? Lead resolution of product performance or durability issues related to production rejects, validation failures or customer complaints on prototypes produced at the production site ? Implement product design and definition changes at the production site ? Assess technical risk of deviations from agreed upon product design and definition ? Provide technical support and product training to other departments ? Provide technical support to customer ? Provide analysis report of engineering returns to customer ? Support cost estimation, supplier RFQs and customer quotations by providing information about product design and definition intent to other departments ? Analyze feasibility of technical requests, product performance and durability requirements from customer; participate in proposals of technical agreements with customer ? Contact point for communication with BW engineering department from other sites ? Feedback about product to the design site of the product, support design changes initiated by the design site ? Apply Reliability and six sigma tools to ensure product robustness ? Develop DVP&R and execute according to program timing requirements ? Communicate project progress and status ? Ensure the installation and/or modification of equipment related to test group projects ? As the product auditor should confirm that it understands the product requirements and can verify the product compliance using relevant measurements and test equipment ? Work with other guys to identify and solve problems ? Share knowledge with other colleagues ? Global Engineering team weekly meeting ? Any task/job assigned by superior EHS and Compliance Responsibilities: ? Make sure understand and follow company compliance policy. ? Accomplish Business EHS Goals& Objectives proactively. ? Master Degree in Engineering ? Excellent knowledge of hydraulics and general physics ? Good knowledge of mechanical engineering and material science ? Basic computer skills ? 5+ years of automotive experience in highly technical context ? Excellent speaking and writing skills in Mandarin Chinese and English ? Good communication skills ? Ability to focus and analyze complex data
